The Faculty of Psychology is one of seven faculties of the oldest university in Switzerland. With our core focus on Society & Choice and Health & Interventions, we are successful both nationally and internationally in our research and study programs.
The Center for Cognitive and Decision Sciences (CDS) at the Faculty of Psychology is seeking a student research assistant to work on projects concerning research in the decision sciences and to provide support relating to teaching.
Your assignments
We offer a student research assistant position of 10 hours per week. The appointment is for 6 months (with the possibility of extension) starting 1 March 2026. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of research tasks, including literature search, data curation, coding for systematic literature reviews, data analysis, and miscellaneous administrative activities (e.g., maintenance of lab records and study materials, participant recruitment, support relating to teaching).
Your profile
You are enrolled in a Bachelor program at the University of Basel, preferably in psychology, and at least in your second year of study. Candidates should demonstrate excellent verbal and interpersonal skills when working in a team environment, along with reliability, attention to detail, computer literacy and motivation to further develop technical skills (e.g., programming), and a strong work ethic.
