Your tasks

In your role as a research assistant, you will work under supervision on current research in the field of social psychology. A selection of possible tasks is: searching for relevant literature, translating materials (DE/EN), creating and conducting studies, analysing data, presenting results or writing them up according to APA norms, recruiting participants for the VERVE Lab.

Your profile

  • You are studying psychology at the University of Basel and are interested in social psychological research
  • You want to be actively involved in research and work on topical projects
  • You like to work independently, but also communicate successfully in a team
  • You have a very good command of English
  • You have experience with statistical data analysis (notably R) or are willing to familiarise yourself with them
  • You have experience with programming online studies (such as Unipark or SoSciSurvey) or are willing to familiarise yourself with them
