We offer you

We offer you an interesting position in a stimulating, international research environment at the University of Basel. You will join an established laboratory team and work closely with researchers and technical staff, including the laboratory manager, who will provide training and support in analytical methods, instrumentation, and laboratory procedures. The position provides the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with isotope-ratio mass spectrometry, chromatography, nitrogen isotope methods, and a range of chemical and biogeochemical laboratory techniques. While pre-existing experience with these methods is welcome, we do not expect applicants to already be experts in them.

The position is offered at 100% with a duration of 18 months, with a planned starting date in January 2027 or by arrangement. Salary and social benefits are provided according to University of Basel regulations.
